About the Role

Chalet Veterinary Clinic is a general practice located in the charming, culturally rich town of Stoughton, WI. We’re proud to be part of this historic community and always happy to welcome those from surrounding areas.

We are looking to add a compassionate, skilled and surgery inclined Veterinary Assistant, Veterinary Technician, or Certified Veterinary Technician to our dedicated team. Full Time or Part Time available.

We are not in a rush—we’re looking for the right person, someone who shares our commitment to exceptional patient care and client service, and who has a genuine interest in surgical procedures.

Skills utilized, but not limited to:

• Venipuncture
• Animal Restraint
• Digital Radiographs
• Surgical Prep, anesthesia, and patient recovery
• Administering vaccinations and medications
• Performing treatments as dictated by the Veterinarian
• Clean, prepare, and maintain exam rooms
• Evaluate patient records and fill standing prescription orders
• Taking and recording vital signs
• Talking to pet owners about their pets’ condition
• Collect patient history from pet owners and notating appropriately in patient records

Some of the basics:

• Pay Range: $18 - $23 (based on skills and experience)
• Consistent work weeks for a predictable schedule
• Serving Canine and Feline Patients
• 3 FT DVMs
• Avimark and PetDesk
• Hours of Operation:
• Mondays: 8:00am - 5:30pm
• Tuesday - Friday: 7:00am - 5:30pm
• Saturday (first 3 of every month): 7:30am - 12:00pm
• IDEXX Reference Laboratories, In House IDEXX Procyte, Catalyst and Sedivue, Zoetis Imagyst
• Digital Radiology
• 30 Minute Appointments (8:00a - 12:00p / Lunch Break / 1:30p - 5:00p)

This means no end-of-day cleanup duties for our staff, allowing everyone to finish their day as scheduled and enjoy their personal time without any work overhang.

Meetings are scheduled during working hours where time is properly allocated. All communication occurs during regular work hours and not during your personal time.

No Overtime: Our employees are not expected to work late or outside of their regularly scheduled hours.

Lunch breaks are your time. To ensure proper work life balance we advocate for a real 30 minute to 1 hour lunch break to take the time to mentally relax and eat a filling meal.
