Miranda Elliman, DVM
Veterinarian
Dr. Miranda Elliman earned her DVM from the University of Wisconsin–Madison School of Veterinary Medicine, after completing her undergraduate studies at the University of Wisconsin–Green Bay. Her love for veterinary medicine began at age five, riding along with her uncle, a large animal veterinarian.
During undergrad, Dr. Elliman volunteered extensively at the local humane society and studied abroad in Costa Rica. In veterinary school, she gained valuable experience working with local animal rescue groups and in the school’s emergency department. She also completed an externship at Best Friends Animal Sanctuary in Arizona, enjoying her time in the Southwest.
Dr. Elliman is passionate about shelter medicine, emergency care, special species, and surgery and dentistry.
Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her “mini zoo,” traveling, and attending baseball games and concerts.
